Hank Zavaleta

We learned with great sadness that Hank passed away this afternoon. We thank God for the special man he was and how he made a difference in this life as a follower of Christ, a family man, a firefighter, and a courageous brain cancer survivor for eight years. As we celebrate that he’s at home with the Lord now, we offer our sympathy and prayers for Cris and their daughters Noelle and Jessica.

Thanks Mike for posting this. Hank was an amazing person. I met him years ago when he had 6 months to live. My life was changed just knowing him and what he believed. I was asked By a close friend Cindy Goff to meet a client of hers and see if I could help them with a project. It turned out to be Hank. All he wanted was to add a room for his wife so that way Cris and the 2 girls would each have a room and they would have a place to live when he passed away.
This was a Man of God setting his House in order before God called him. He knew he was going to meet God sooner than most. Over the past few years I would give people Hanks phone number who were going through bouts with Cancer. He would stop what he was doing to talk to them and have them call and keep in touch. I trully believe Hank was put in my life just to talk to My Sister in law Margaret and help her get through her Cancer experience. Hank we will miss you, but the thoughts of what God did through you will be in our Hearts for ever. We Love you Compa!!!
